We set on 400 acres, most of it pasture and some wooded acres with fifteen ponds and two natural springs.  Wildlife are very abundant on the ranch.  Deer and turkeys are seen everyday roaming through the pastures.  We run about  200 head of cattle and 12 to 17 horses on the ranch.

Cattle

Bob, Mary and Alice Stewart, owners of Yellow Rock Ranch, sell Angus and Brangus heifers.  The heifers are bred to Angus bulls and and then sold in their third stage before calving.  They are replacement heifers for most people with older cows.  There are heifers for sale year around.

Tony takes care of the cattle and keeps them fed and is there if a problem occurs.  He has many years of experience in cattle work.  The cattle are is good hands and always healthy and UTD on shots and worming.  They are fed quality Bermuda hay in the winter and have pastures full of Bermuda grass in the spring.

 Horse Facilities

We have a 7 stall barn. The stalls are 12ft by 12ft.   Stalls include feed and water buckets plus a hay rack.  Our barn also includes a feed and tack room.

We have a 40ft, 6ft tall wooded round pen for training. We have a few corral pens made of panels for keeping horses, with several shade trees.  Horse are kept in stalls during hard rains and bad weather. Our horses have about 30 acres of pasture, with several cross fences.  We try to make horses a comfortable as possible while in training.

We almost have our arena done. It is about 70ft wide at the front and it widens to 130ft.  It is about 175ft long. Its not the biggest arena in the world but works for us.

At Yellow Rock Ranch we guarantee the best in everything we do and sell.
